This is a two year fixed term contract.

We are looking for an effective project manager with experience of working collaboratively in partnership with a range of external stakeholders including statutory agencies, local authorities and private landowners.

This role will drive forward our work in promoting and delivery natural flood management (NFM) solutions. Working alongside the Thames Regional Flood & Coastal Committee (RFCC), this new project will work to increase the targeted uptake of NFM interventions in the Thames catchment at a time when flood risk is of increasing concern to communities and local authorities.

You will work within the growing nature-based solutions work stream of our UK Programmes department to develop this project and our relationship with Thames RFCC whilst supporting local authorities and other key stakeholders to adopt NFM as part of their wider flood risk strategy.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Tom Hayek, Senior Project Manager (Nature-based Solutions) – Tom.Hayek@wwt.org.uk

We work internationally in key global wetland areas, balancing conservation with sustainable livelihoods and influencing national and international conservation policies.

  • Contributory pension scheme (conditions apply)
