Assistant Partnership Officer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for an motivated and flexible Assistant Partnership Officer with experience of working with communities and a keen interest in the environment and nature. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Partnership Officers at the North West Kent Countryside Partnership to develop, coordinate and deliver a range of environmental community engagement projects, events and education across North Kent. 

This is a part time post offered initially fixed term for one year, three days a week. Based in North West Kent the role will require you to travel across the area and there will be some weekend and evening work involved.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in countryside management and community environmental projects as part of the Kent Countryside Partnerships teams.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
