Could you help us to meet the challenge of creating at least 250ha of new, multi-purpose woodland in Nottinghamshire, home of the legendary Sherwood Forest?

This post offers an exciting opportunity to work with Greenwood Community Forest and partners to help deliver the England’s Community Forests’ Trees for Climate programme in Nottinghamshire. With practical experience of tree planting you will work with volunteers, conservation organisations and landowners to deliver planting schemes that bring benefits for both people and wildlife.

The post is offered as an Apprenticeship (Countryside Ranger, Level 4). Training is provided via Bishop Burton college and the post holder will be expected to attend block weeks at the college (expenses will be paid). Eligibility for the apprenticeship will be checked prior to a formal offer being made.
