Project Officer (Norfolk)
Salary: £25,246 to £26,978 pro rata per annum
Term:
Part-time or Full-time (22.5 – 37 hours per week)
Location: Home working with regular home visits in and around Norwich.

This role will specialise in working with families, individuals and communities and involves supporting a variety of our projects including delivering our award winning Green Doctor programme offering home visits to vulnerable people to provide energy saving advice, installation of small practical energy-saving measures such as low energy light bulbs and draft proofing and referring on to other health and wellbeing services, as well as remote support. We aim to reduce our client’s energy bills and save them money in a variety of ways including providing a bill switching service.

We are looking for a qualified and/or experienced officer to give energy advice to enable some of the most vulnerable residents to keep warm and manage their energy bills.

You will have strong communication skills together with a passion for helping vulnerable people. You must have a thorough knowledge of energy efficiency to provide in-home tailored energy & financial information, and the ability to adapt your approach to suit the varying needs of our clients. You will be self-motivated and confident in managing your own workload. Relevant training for undertaking the in-home visits and advice will be provided and this will include training for undertaking in home visits and giving advice to residents.

You must be able to travel to attend home visits and Trust offices as required.

Whilst a large part of this role will be delivering our Green Doctor programme, as a Project Officer, you will have access and opportunity to work on a wide range of other Groundwork initiatives based on your experience and skills.
