~~We’re looking for someone to join our small team and provide support to the grounds team with particular focus on facilities management and maintenance of visitor standards. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of undertaking cleaning duties plus general maintenance skills (joinery & plumbing) to a high standard with good attention to detail. The post will be 5 days per week (Sun – Thurs 8.30am – 2pm) working in a varied role throughout our beautiful 103 acre wetlands site. The post holder will assist in ensuring that our site is well maintained, offering a safe and welcoming environment for visitors. They will also assist in management of infrastructure on our nature reserve and within animal exhibits. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for undertaking preopening cleaning of the Visitor Centre over 3-5 hours each week. This role is an opportunity to gain understanding and experience of a conservation led visitor attraction. Role appropriate training will be provided.
