Fixed-term contract - 1st April until 30th September 2019

We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual to assist with operating our Canoe Safari Trail. You will be engaging with and instructing our visitors to ensure they have an unforgettable experience whilst hiring a canoe on a self-paddled 1km trail through our nature reserve. 

You will also assist with basic maintenance tasks on our canoe and coracle fleet as well as some vegetation management along the trail. A practical can do attitude is highly sort after. The Canoe Safari is open in all weathers but we do provide a full uniform to ensure you are warm and dry despite the weather.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent with experience of working in a customer focused operation and an ability to engage with people at all levels is essential. Canoe experience is not essential as full training will be given.
